hi all, well this past week has saw me restart on butterfly wood. it is done on 25 count white evenweave, 1 over 1. All in 3785 stitches have been done this week.
dont think i have done bad this week since all that you can see above was done in the week. Just hate that my camera wont show up the slight changes in colour , as the butterfly at the left edge of the page has 20 colours in and around it.
thanks, doing once was innocent for a week now, and will go back to this next week. the confetti was't to bad, thanks to the huge blocks of black ( was nice to get a colour change)
i restarted due to that problem, i am now following a colour through. What i mean by this is.... If you look at the black on the right hand side, that is part of page 1 and of 2, and it stops where their will be another colour.this then helps 1. stagger the page line, and 2. the line is between 2 different colours, both together minimizes page lines to the extent that you cant tell them
i know their is lots of confetti with the tree's on this one, the butterflies vary. And i am missing doing it all ready. on once was innocent all i have is blocks of lilac shades ( wish i were doing tent now ) :S And its ( once was innocent) is on 27 count so although it looks nicer its annoying me having to get to grips with smaller squares, and by the time im used to it ill need to go to the bigger holes again. :S Oh well it doesn't matter.
some are around the butterfly ( ie. the middle bit of the butterfly) i sat with about 16 colours next to me, i had already done 3, and as you can see their is still a few to do.but its not to bad :D lovely break after about 3000 black stitches lol
I wish I had big blocks of color sometimes. It's pretty rare though. I hope it doesn't drive you crazy switching back and forth. I haven't had had a problem with my rotation for this yet. I'm hoping I won't. So far I've used fourteen count, eighteen count twenty eight count, and thirty two count. I have twenty two count coming up.
i think its a little of - getting used to smaller squares and only doing large blocks of lilac shades :S ( with once) but i am working my way down to the fairy and leaving the background for just now. Finished the little dark butterfly last night :D

lovely start, how do you avoid having page lines showing?

Amazing as always. Can you send me some of your spare time so I can stitch?!?
i dont have spare time, i just train the kids to tidy up. keeps them busy and gets the housework done while i tidy then take the credit
Only kidding :D
lol well can you come and train mine as well :)
LOL @ training the kids!! I've always had lots of confetti with my HAEDs. I think it will be different with Lust though.

Wow, a brilliant restart =) Your stitching looks great? 20 colors in that butterfly? Sounds like a touch of confetti ;-)
