Butterfly Wood (david penfound) update 27th september 2011

week 2 on butterfly wood, but i only managed to stitch a few days this week.Luckily i managed to get 1000 stitches done on 2 of the few days, and so this weeks total is 3357

edit : just did another 404 more , so this weeks total now 3761 :)

butterfly wood - week 1 - restart

hi all, well this past week has saw me restart on butterfly wood. it is done on 25 count white evenweave, 1 over 1. All in 3785 stitches have been done this week.

dont think i have done bad this week since all that you can see above was done in the week. Just hate that my camera wont show up the slight changes in colour , as the butterfly at the left edge of the page has 20 colours in and around it.

help

i dont know what i should do now. I try and rotate my pieces every week. but i am unsure wither i should start one of the pieces i have already started ( and so hopefully still manage to finish my 1/2 yearly goal - in way behind on this as i had to restart butterfly wood, and so lost out on 12000 stitches) or just to start one of the 5 new designs i have sitting their calling my name to start :S

butterfly wood restart

well yesterday was devoted to cross stitch , although only about 200 stitches were actually done. first i cut that huge bit of material down to size, then sat stitching around all the sides of all 6 pieces so that they don't fray. Then after mucking about trying to get my starting point (since im working bottom to top its slightly harder, and getting it into the frame i re-started butterfly wood again.   Hopefully ill get enough progress done today that it is worth while posting a pic up of it tonight / tomorrow.

My fabrics arrived :D

finally my fabric has arrived, it is enough to do the 6 designs i need done, a piece for my gran to do her haed, and enough left for about 2 large charts and a couple of story keeps.It is huge :D

x stitch update - dryad week 7

so i promised an update a few days ago and never got it up. I am sorry life ran away from me(been ill) and my stitching has just been left against a wall for over a fortnight :s. but i thought i would post the little progress i did manage between my last post and chaos.

i also did this last friday night and sat. I wasn't feeling up to holding a frame and wanted something easy to hold and pick up / put down. After getting married my dad commented on how my name is now Mrs E. Hoare, which sounds alot like ..... eeyore
