happy new year & sal

happy new year everyone . Only 50 min to go here until the bells chime, and i have managed to get 1109 stitches done on the 2012 sal today. Unfortunately i made a mistake and had to take out around 300 or it could have been a lot more.

New start - mini

Well i got this a couple of weeks back from Liz, and counldn't resist starting it.

It is mini - bed of clouds and i am doing it 2 over one in tent stitch.Due to xmas not alot has been done, but im sure once the madness is out of the way i will get stuck into it.This is the amount i have got done over the past 3 days (12 hours stitching time)

I have done the full width across, by about 11 rows down (except for a few stitches that will soon be clouds)

ihsw update

sorry i am slightly late in posting this, my hubby had the camera and is only just back from work. Due to christmas prep. , i did not manage to get my usual done, but i still managed a little over 2000.

Just noticed

I just noticed that i have not yet posted about the kind women on the haed bb.
First off i got one from an anonymous person. World of the sea turtle.

Then on the 12th Dec Michelle got me the lovely Astronomy lesson, that reminds me of my two sons.
And on Friday morning (16th) i woke up to find two Raks waiting for me
mini bed of clouds from Liz, and floating lanterns from Simone. I feel so humble , with all these wonderful landies around me.Puts me to shame as i only had enough to give2 out this month :S.Oh well im sure their will be a few more given out before too long.

Now my rotation will be going up to either 13 or 14, i am in some serious trouble, but i am sure i will manage :D.

thread came today and first siberian forest update

So my threads came through today , but unfortunately one was missing from the bag.the other 232 arrived safe and sound, and now im just trying to think what to do with them all :S, here is a picture of them all in the bag they came in

Also i have done 4 days on siberian forest. Usually i would not do a post till after a week, but i am thinking of doing something else and so i thought i would post the little i have done

So after stitching for the past few days on flights of imagination, i realised that 1000 of my stitches are in the wrong place. So i frogged half of them, then after getting fed up decided to start a new project - Siberian forest.

I am really enjoying myself so far, and afterwards hope to move onto dryad.I love being able to just pick up a new project whenever i feel like it.

Flight of Imagination ( Randal Spangler) 6th december 2011

just a quick update of my progress on flight of imagination , not done much as i spent 4 days sorting out my floss for my 5 new starts.And i get a RAK chart from a lovely anonymous person . I am so so greatful.

All 1/2 year goals complete :D

Tonight i finished my 1/2 year goals by putting my final 540 stitches into dryad. Now to have some fun stitching :D....What chart to start?????......

butterfly wood - 25th nov 1/2 year goal done

So after a brilliant week getting 7321 stitches done ( including the ihsw) i have managed to finish my 1/2 year goals on this piece,as its now at 9.5% complete.
It has been  a joy to stitch so far, but now i am moving back onto Dryad

IHSW _ Butterfly wood

So on friday i finished my goals on once was innocent - as seen on my other post.Then i moved on to butterfly wood.
Friday - 925 stitches done
Saturday - 1543 stitches done
Sunday - 1325 stitches done
So i managed a grand total of 3793 stitches :D. I can't believe how well i did.And thanks to it i now only have 3518 stitches till i finish my 1/2 year goals :D :D

So i have finally finished my 1/2 year goal on once was innocent.Before i packed it away i took a few pics.Now i am working on butterfly wood again

RAK'd Chart

i think i have hurt my husbands eardrum. I just logged into my email account and was clearing out my spam folder when i saw someone had RAK'ed me a chart. I just squealed the house down im soooooooo happy

Once was innocent - week 3/4

so i have been working on once was innocent over the past 2 weeks, and am now at 5.6% complete. I only have roughly 4200 stitches to do till i finish my 1/2 yearly goals on this piece so will be sticking with it.

Poll now up - please help me decide

SO i am sitting tonight wondering what should be my next HAED chart that i get. I know i already have so many on the go, but one is going to take a back seat for a while, as i have lost all intrest in her at the moment. So would like something to replace her with. The poll is already set up to the right of the page, but below are the pictures of the charts i like

butterfly wood update

just a quick update before i move onto once was innocent.

over the past 5 days i have managed to do 3241 stitches, bringing my completion to 6.3%. I only have 7690 stitches left to finish my 1/2 year goal on this piece.

So monday to friday saw me working on butterfly wood to try and get my 1/2 year goals complete, followed by flight of imagination on sat/sun.

butterfly wood - 2530 stitches done this week taking it up to 5.2% complete

Flight of imagination - 1530 stitches done over the 2 days taking it to 1.8% complete. Also say hello to paul the alien that is peaking out to say "HI!"

IHSW pics update

IHSW

well i have just packed all my stitching away and i have managed a grand total of 4460 stitches from friday till just now ( sunday night).

Friday - 1203 stitches on train of dreams
Saturday - 1722 stitches on train of dreams
Sunday - 387 on butterfly wood and 1148 on a new start - flights of imagination.

I will get all pics up tomorrow, very tired now as its half 1 in the morning.

train of dreams

Hi all i have been working on Train of dreams for the past two weeks, and i am hoping after the IHSW this weekend that i will have my 1/2 yearly goals done. ( need another 2759 stitches done to complete the goal).

So over the past 2 weeks i have done 6588, which isnt bad since the first week i didn't stitch for half of it.

As stated i am doing this for the IHSW so i will post an after pic on monday for you all to see.

thread sorting and new frame

Well my new frame arrived yesterday from needle needs, so i can finally start train of dreams again.

I have not been cross stitching much recently as i have been sorting out my threads.

hopefully this will help speed things up for me.
